Some Finnish and Estonian organizations have teamed up for FinEst Sounds -project with the aim to increase the export capabilities of musical talents and music companies to Japanese market.

There have been several individual success stories in exporting Finnish and Estonian music to Japan through out the years, and now it is time to search for models that would support the entire industry. New cooperation models and cross-sectoral value chains between music sector and sectors already successfully exporting to Japan, including design, lifestyle and technology companies, are expected to be developed.

Over a period of two upcoming years some 45 Finnish and Estonian music professionals and 20 companies from other sectors will be pooled for training, matchmaking, networking and knowledge-sharing events. 0.7 design will bring in its insights as an expert with its 10 years of experience in Japan.

Music Finland and Music Estonia are currently recruiting participating companies to this project.
